Skiing in Saint-Lary

First turns at Pla d’Adet, forest runs at Espiaube, views at Portet: find your ski day.

Three ways to enjoy the mountain

A morning to find your turns again, a family break, then a new view of the Pyrenees. Pla d’Adet, Espiaube and the Vallon du Portet let you vary your days in Saint-Lary without giving everyone the same programme.

Where to ski in Saint-Lary?

Choose the setting you like, then a run suited to your level. The piste map and daily opening information help you plan your outing.

Pla d’Adet, your first turns

The cable car links the village to Pla d’Adet. Its learning areas and covered conveyor lifts give young skiers and adults new to snow a starting point. The promenade beside the nursery slopes lets companions watch their progress. Start together, then meet up for a break.

T NO LIMIT’s advice

The Bleue range is for classic piste skiing. For a child’s first turns, explore Premier Pas with their height and experience in mind.

Espiaube, skiing through the forest

At Espiaube, the scenery changes with the descent. Many red and black runs pass through forest, while blue and red runs link to the upper areas. For skiers who enjoy linking turns, it is another side of Saint-Lary: varied terrain, trees and the wish to keep skiing.

T NO LIMIT’s advice

Rouge is a step up from Bleue; Noire is the intermediate choice in the adult selection. The shop helps you choose for your skiing.

Vallon du Portet, wide mountain views

At Portet, the mountain opens out. Runs of different levels cross high-altitude scenery with broad views of the Pyrenees. As a couple or with friends, come for the skiing and the sense of space. Group members can choose different runs and share a break with a view.

T NO LIMIT’s advice

Or offers higher-end skis for enjoying the pistes. No Limit is for expert skiers and professionals.

What to know before choosing

Adult and children’s ranges, equipment and sector choices: prepare your ski day.

How do I choose my adult range?

Bleue is for classic piste skiing; Rouge is a step up, Noire is the intermediate choice, followed by Or and No Limit. Range names are not piste difficulty colours. No Limit is for experts and professionals.

What equipment should I choose with my skis?

The ranges include skis and poles. Choose boots and a helmet from the available options, or find them in the accessory selection above.

Where do I choose dates and see the amount?

Open the equipment page, select your dates, then the available sizes and options. Availability and the amount are shown for your selection before completing the booking.

Which range should I choose for my child?

The four children’s ranges are Baby, Premier Pas, Progression and Futur Pro. Choose according to your child’s first steps or progress; the team advises you and checks their equipment at collection.

Which sector should I choose to start skiing or return to it?

Pla d’Adet has learning areas useful for beginners and families. Espiaube and Vallon du Portet offer varied runs for your ability. Always choose from the runs open that day.

Can my skis and boots be adjusted at the shop?

Yes. At collection, the team checks the settings and fit with you. They adjust the size or change the equipment if needed; you can also add a forgotten accessory.

Where can I check ski area openings before setting off?

Check the ski area map and openings before your day out. Match the sector and runs to your ability and the conditions that day.

Your next ski days

Choose everyone’s skis and prepare your dates. Pla d’Adet, Espiaube and Portet are the setting for the next part of your stay.
